The IRS has extended the filing date and balance due payment date for most 2019 individual and business income tax returns until July 15, 2020 without penalties or interest. The automatic extension does NOT apply to the payment of payroll taxes and other taxes.
In these very difficult and challenging times, it is most important that we all stay healthy and safe. Therefore, the office will not currently be open to any client walk-in deliveries or pick-ups.
I recognize that many of you now, more than ever, may be relying on your income tax refund[s]. My goal is to try to complete and deliver as many of your returns as possible on a timely basis, without risking or compromising the health and safety of my staff or myself and family.
If we already have your return information, I am working diligently to complete returns in the order that they are received. If you have not as yet given me your information, please mail it to the office or slide it under the door if it fits and the building is open.
I will contact you when the returns are completed and will mail them to you. Or if you are willing, I will safely and securely email the returns to you, which will be a prompt and efficient process for both you and this office.
As always, do not hesitate to call or email me with any questions. Stay healthy and safe.
